Frequently Asked Questions

Information

The program might work on computers that doesn't meet the requirements.

  • 4 GB RAM
    • Background processes using much RAM may need to be shut down for the program to work
  • 10 GB free disk space on the drive letter C.
  • A resolution of at least 1024x768.
  • Acrobat* Reader
  • Windows* XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10
    • Requires a typical installation of Windows *. Thin clients and similar may cause problems that prevent the program from starting.
  • Administrator rights
    • The program requires administrative rights for both the installation and usage.
    • Use of the software can only be done through the user account that installed the program.
  • Printer
    • The program works with PDF-printers and similar.

Procedure

We recommend that you use our activation demo to activate the software.

Primary code

The primary code is automatically generated. The code is used to identify the computer.

Serial number

Your serial number should be listed on your measuring arm and consists of 6 digits.

Username/Password

The username and password is replaced when renewing.

Unblocking code

You can generate your unblocking code through www.allvis.info, you don't have to use the computer where the software is installed.

  1. Download and install the program on the new computer.
  2. Open the program on the new computer, the first field contains your new primary code.
  3. Send the details below to info@jne.se.
    • Your new primary code
    • Your serial number
    • Your username
    • Your password
  1. Check if the model is available for download
    1. Go to www.allvis.info
    2. Choose brand in the list to the left
    3. Available models is listed on the bottom of the page
    4. Click on the model you need
    5. Enter your username and password if necessary
    6. Click on download
    7. Run the file while the program is closed
  2. Send the details below to info@jne.se
    • Model
    • Year
    • VIN

When the button Save report is used in the program, the report will be saved as jpg-files in a folder named by current order number, locate the folder by following the instructions below.

  1. Right click the desktop icon and select Open file location.
  2. Open the folder DbImg.
  3. Open the folder Client.
  4. Open the folder AllVis_L.

Saved reports can also be reached through the program by clicking on Open order.

Errors/problems

You can only generate one unblocking code once per username.


If you can't generate unblocking code

Primary code must be consistent with the one that the serial number had previously. If you have a new primary code, please contact us.


If you entered incorrect details

If you entered incorrect serial number or primary code, please send an email to info@jne.se with the details below.

  • Your username
  • Your password
  • Your serial number
  • Your primary code

The program uses the printer that was set as default printer when the program started, the program needs to be restarted to detect a new default printer. Follow the instructions below to change default printer.

  1. Make sure the program is closed.
  2. Open up the start menu and go to Control panel.
  3. Click on Devices and Printers or View Devices and Printers.
  4. Right-click the printer that should be used and select Set as Default Printer.

The error appears when one or more files is missing or can't be used with the current settings, it usually appears while the program is starting.

Solution 1

  1. Right click on the desktop icon and select Properties.
  2. Go to the tab Shortcut.
  3. Click on Advanced.
  4. Check the box Run as administrator.
  5. Click on OK to close the window.
  6. Start the program.

Solution 2

  1. Download new installation files.
  2. Start the installation.
  3. Monitor the installation to make sure you antivirus software an similar does not block the program.

The error is displayed during the activation in the program if the details are incorrect.

  • The serial number consists of 6 digits without spaces or hyphens.
  • The username consists of 9 digits.
  • The password usually consists of 4 lowercase letters followed by 3 digits.
  • The unblocking code consists of 12 characters, mixed digits and uppercase letters.

Important!
The problem usually occurs when the details are copied, try to enter the details manually to ensure no spaces are included in the fields.

The error is displayed when you try to open some of your applications. You can solve the problem by changing settings for User Account Control.
